FUN DAY in YONKERS

WEAVING DEMONSTRATION
Faculty and staff from the Continuing & Professional Studies Arts&Culture program participated in an arts awareness day at Yonkers High/Middle School on May 31. Staff demonstrated spinning and weaving to students, and some students had a chance to try out a 4-harness floor loom. The Arts & Culture program's mission is to create opportunities for the community to explore the arts and culture through a variety of learning experiences. We hope our successful day at Yonkers High/Middle School will encourage more schools and community agencies to seek us out.
