Winter Arts Classes are now scheduled. This year explore the wonderful world of fiber through crochet, drop spindle spinning, fiber dyeing, knitting and weaving. The first weaving class begins February 3, 2007.
Beginning Weaving
Instructor: Angela L. Ferber
Learn to create your own hand woven textiles. This weaving workshop is for any beginner who wants to learn about fibers, yarns & weave structures. You’ll finish a weaving project on your own lap loom and get an opportunity to create sample weaves on a variety of pre-warped harness looms, including inkle, rigid heddle, and a four shaft table loom.
Adults & Children 8+
Dates: Section 1: February 3, 4
Section 2: March 10, 11
Times: 9:00 am – 1::00 pm
Tuition: $100 + $20 supply fee for each section
If you sign up for both sections you get a 10% discount and a 16-hour weaving experience!
